NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accreditation means our product testing is independently verified and meets global standards. NATA-accredited facilities are highly regarded nationally and internationally and are recommended by the Australian Government wherever possible. Accreditation isn’t a one-time stamp — NATA maintains accreditation through conducting assessments at regular intervals to ensure continued compliance. So customers can be confident that standards are consistently upheld over time.
It gives you confidence that our furniture is tested for strength, durability and safety.
Our Minto facility has received the Toitū Carbon Reduce Organisation certification; which shows our commitment to ongoing reductions while achieving annual greenhouse gas emissions measurement to ISO 14064-1 2018 standard and Toitū requirements.
By implementing ISO 9001, Sebel has put in place strong quality control processes. The certification ensures Sebel continues to improve our performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate our commitment to quality.
The ISO 14001 certification shows Sebel has an EMS in place, and continually improves our environmental performance. By adhering to this standard, Sebel can ensure we are taking proactive measures to minimise our environmental footprint, while complying with relevant legal requirements, and achieving our environmental objectives.
The ISO 45001 provides Sebel with a framework to manage risks and improve OH&S performance. Implementing ISO 45001 ensures Sebel continues to look for opportunities to reduce workplace incidents and demonstrate OH&S commitment.
Many of our products carry the official Australian Made logo – a mark of true local manufacturing. It means they’re proudly made right here in Australia, supporting local jobs and guaranteed to meet Australian standards.

Because we control the entire process – design, manufacture and testing – we can validate performance, refine designs, and ensure every product meets specification before it reaches a classroom, office or stadium.
For you, all of these accreditations mean one thing – peace of mind.
We have the only in-house NATA testing facility in Australasia. Because of that we can rigorously test at every stage. Using advanced methods including impact and cyclic fatigue testing, we evaluate how materials and components perform under repeated use.
Our NATA-accredited lab performs rigorous evaluations — from static load testing to determine maximum weight capacity, to dynamic impact testing to simulate sudden forces (dropping chairs from suspension).
We choose materials and engineering solutions that balance aesthetics, comfort and long-term performance. Better design upfront means fewer replacements, lower environmental impact, and furniture that continues to feel good, function well and look smart – long after installation.
Our testing programmes are designed to evaluate how products will perform over time in high-use environments. Products are tested to EN, AS/NZS or specific performance criteria shaped by decades of industry experience.
